Impeller:
-
Mounted with airfoil blades of great efficiency and low sound, the impellers of YFTNV jet fans have hubs and blades made of high-strength die-cast aluminum alloys. Each impeller has undergone heat treatment, X-ray flaw detection, tensile test, metal processing and dynamic balancing tests to ensure reliable quality. The blade angles are statically adjustable.
Motor:
-
The motor is air cooled, squirrel cage and sealed type resistant to damp heat. It is IP55 rated with Class H insulation; Internationally famous bearing brands are used, such as SKF and NSK; The motor lead wire can be connected to the junction box on the fan stack; The grease tube leading all the way from the grease nipple to the fan housing makes greasing and maintenance much easier.
Fan Housing and Mounting Brackets

The laser cutting and plasma cutting processes are used. The housing is automatically welded and formed by spinning. The surface is hot-dip galvanized or coated for better fan strength and corrosion resistance. The mounting brackets are designed based on actual field conditions.
Silencers
-
The YFTNV jet fan has silencers of 1 times fan diameter mounted at both the inlet and outlet ends. If sound is a primary consideration, silencers of 2 times fan diameter is recommended. The outer shell is rolled and welded with quality steel sheets. Insulation material with super fine glass fiber is placed inside the silencers between the alkali-free fibrous glass cloth on the outside and a perforated steel inner liner. The streamlined nozzle helps improve flow filed and efficiency.
High Temperature Resistance

The YFTNV jet fan is tested by Tianjin Fire Research Institute of MPS and has obtained CCCf (China Compulsory Certification for fans) certification. The YFTNV jet fan can run for a straight hour at 280 degrees without mechanical, electrical or structural failures and can be used for emergency smoke removal.
Rotation Reversible

The rotor has a low moment of inertia. The rotation of YFTNV jet fan can be reversed smoothly to the rated speed within 30 seconds.
Easy installation and maintenance.
Tests

Thrust Test: The test is performed on the special testing equipment designed as per ISO13350 standard.

Sound Test: The fan with and fan without silencers mounted at the inlet and outlet are both tested in open areas (when air velocity is about zero). The sound pressure level is tested at 10m at a 45-degree angle to the fan shaft.
Fan Efficiency: The fan efficiency is defined by the thrust (N) and input power (kW) of the motor.
Tests on airflow, mechanical performance, vibration, start-up time and reverse rotation are performed by INFINAIR lab in line with relevant national and industrial standards.

Technical
- Structure Type
The YFTNV jet fan shall be directly driven and the impeller shall be mounted with axial airfoil blades. A streamlined air straightener upstream of the fan inlet shall be mounted. Tube silencers shall be attached to the inlet and outlet ends of the fan with high strength bolts. Steel safety guards shall be mounted on both the inlet and outlet ends of the fan to ensure safe operation.
The YFTNV jet fan includes unidirectional and reversible types. The unidirectional jet fan is designed for ventilation in one direction and can be made under special conditions to have reverse rotation with thrust 50% to 70% of normal rotation. The bidirectional reversible fan can be used for ventilation in two directions with relatively the same thrust and airflow levels.

- Fan Stack
The fan stack shall be formed in quality steel sheet through the processes of rolling, continuous welding, spinning and flanging. Brackets for both the fan stack and motor shall be wholly welded to be strong enough to withstand the dynamic load generated.

- Impeller
The hub and blades of the YFTNV jet fan shall be die-cast with high strength aluminum alloys. X ray flaw detection must be conducted on each blade to ensure manufacturing quality for reliable operation.
Airfoil blades of optimal air performance shall be fastened to hub with high strength lock bolts. Every impeller shall be dynamically balanced. The blade angles shall be statically adjustable to meet different operating conditions.

- Silencer
Silencers shall be a two-layer cylinder structure. The inner layer is perforated sheet and the outer layer is quality steel sheet which is rolled and welded. The super fine glass fiber shall be placed in between and they shall be fire retardant of Class A fire rating, insect-free and damp-proof.

- Surface Processing
The surface shall be treated for corrosion and rust prevention. There shall be at least two layers of primer and finish coat resistance to high temperature. The fan surface shall be galvanized for enduring corrosion prevention on special occasions as required.

- Motor
The YFTNV jet fan shall be fitted with squirrel cage asynchronous motor of sealed type resistant to damp heat. It is IP55 rated with Class H insulation. The motor lead wire can be connected to the junction box on the fan stack for convenient wiring; The grease tube leading all the way from the grease nipple to the fan housing makes greasing and maintenance much easier.

- Fire Certification
The YFTNV jet fan shall meet the requirements of GA211-2009 GA 211-2009 High Temperature-Resistant Test Methods for Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators in the tests performed by testing agencies designated by China Certification Centre for Fire Products Ministry of Public Security. The fan shall continuously run for at least 60min at 250℃ and obtain certification.

- Nameplate
A permanently fixed aluminum nameplate shall clearly display the fan number, product model and serial number (a unique ID for each fan) so that the parts used can be traceable by customers.

All testing procedures at INFINAIR’s air performance and sound testing laboratory are done according to the following standards:
1. All design, fabrication and testing guidelines are in strict accordance with AMCA 210, AMCA 300, ISO 5807, GBT 1236, ISO 13350 and GBT 10178 standards.
2. The INFINAIR laboratory has replaced the simple cardboard shielding method duct test with a new generation of precise-flow nozzle matrix systems.
3. Advanced and sophisticated testing equipment are being used in the laboratory.
4. All equipment used in the laboratory are calibrated and inspected regularly.
5. When comparing the results of same-sample inter-lab tests, the INFINAIR lab test results’ margins of error are within the precision and error requirements specified by relevant international/national standards.
INFINAIR laboratory also has the following test capabilities:
1. perform overspeed test in accordance with JB/T6445 Overspeed test for industrial fan impeller;
2. perform vibration test in accordance with JB/T8689 Fan vibration detection and its limited value and other related standards;

4. Designed in accordance with such standards as EN 12101-3 and UL 793, INFINAIR laboratory has built high-temperature furnaces for smoke removal fans for performance tests and as a witness test platform for obtaining TUV, UL and other overseas certifications.
INFINAIR laboratory can perform other tests, such as high and low temperature resistance test, water spray and splash test, physicochemical test, dust test and so on. The laboratory helps ensure precise tests for reliable product quality and accurate technical data.

With respect to garage ventilation system optimization, INFINAIR has successfully developed a new, complete series centrifugal inducing fan with high static pressure as wehll as far projection distance, and guide the ventilation system layout of underground garage of customer. ——Numerical simulation technology CAE
1.Numerical simulation is a kind of application of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), mainly includes two core technologies of CFD and FEA.
2.CFD is short for Computational Fluid Dynamics. CFD simulate-calculates the product performance inside computer, provides guidance for aerodynamic model design (optimize the number of blades, angles and widths) and noise prediction of fan, especially impeller, and thus helps the designer basically predict the final aerodynamic performance without producing so many prototypes, consequently realizes quick customized design or systemic optimization.
3.As a “virtual laboratory”, CFD can realize fast iteration, save cost and reduce R&D period, is a strong tool for effective and reliable fan R&D and non-standard customization, and will provide accurate scheme for optimization of ventilation system.
