Model ISQ is a plug fan. Plug fan means wheel inlet is directly facing the incoming air. The fan directly suck air into wheel and then pressurize, air flow pattern is improved accordingly. This is the most well recognized way to balance the noise generated as well as the air pressure required for building ventilation, inline application.
